Description

WHY: We need a couple of elevator pitches to have in our back pockets during sales calls that address different challenges with different solutions.

DONE: This will be done when we have at least one elevator pitch for every service, three for Kanboard and Nextcloud, and three that address combos that would be recommended and/or go well together.

How: Put together a list of elevator pitches in a document.

I want to focus on two things here. Decentralized federated services, and remote productivity.

You:

Okay Tim, I might be able to help you with that. Are you interested in hearing what I do?

Prospect:

Please, tell me.

High Level Pitch

You: Great, now what we do is we help [X] accomplish [Y] by doing [Z].

I copy-pasted most of the stuff from the services' sites into their respective pitch papers. Now I need to go through and smooth them over so that they're usable.

I didnt really see a problem with most of these pitches.

  • Nextcloud was the one that could have been fine tuned.
  • Jekyll is very custom for the time being

I think focusing on the "Challenge" and "Why" will be the key factors putting the split between where customers currently are and where they need to be. These are good, but I think they need the our why. Not each of these services why.
